Hyperspectral Radiometer

Hyperspectral Ocean Color Radiometers are compact, high-frequency sampling instruments specialized for ocean color remote sensing by Canada's EasyOceanTech. They include the HOC-R radiance meter and HOC-IR irradiance meter, which can be used underwater or above water to measure water body radiance and irradiance. With a spectral sampling frequency of up to 4Hz and integration time as low as 0.1ms, hundreds of spectral data sets can be acquired within minutes of sampling time.

The size of HOC-R and HOC-IR is significantly smaller than traditionally used radiometers in ocean color remote sensing, with minimal self-shadowing effects, making them easier to integrate. They can be integrated into profiling measurement systems, optical buoys, surface observation equipment, and shipborne observation devices, and are also suitable for mobile platforms with stricter size requirements.
